After getting beat up he pulled the gun. Stand your ground and self defense are no longer applicable for several reasons. First, her was the aggressor and hit the young man with a punch, so he was committing the burglary battery. Second, he pulled the gun after the incident stopped after the young man stopped hitting him and were walking away. Of course we do not know why all this occurred but the man was arrested. Again, his defense team will be limited based on stand your ground, self defense, etc if this case was in Florida.
