Facts: The sheriff’s office executed a search warrant at the location in reference to the operation of an illegal lottery operation. The ∆ was found inside the booth where the lottery tickets were being sold from, with several customers at the window to the booth purchasing lottery tickets as the warrant was executed. Also found in the booth with the ∆ were several “tally sheets” or ledgers of several days worth of illegal lottery ticket sales. Also found in the booth with the ∆ was a date stamp which was stamped on each ticket sold, to assist the operators in identifying the tickets that they had sold. Also found hanging on the wall just outside of the booth was a dry erase board with the winning numbers for several past lotteries written on it. Eleven customers who were found inside the location in possession of illegal lottery tickets were arrested.
